寒假過去了，可我還在回味寒假中的一件趣事——放鞭炮。放鞭炮是新年的習俗，對我們小孩子來說，在新年是最有趣的事情。正好，我們今年的新年就在外婆家的“爆竹聲”中度過的。
我們在除夕那一晚，來到外婆家，在客廳坐了一下，我的舅舅也在那，收了幾封利市，舅舅的孩子便吵著要放鞭炮。剛好我們也買了些炮過來。媽媽對我說“你上去跟他們一起放，看好他們?！蔽遗d奮地說：“好啊!”其實我比他們還要高興。
我們飛快地走了上了天臺，迫不及待的撕開了裝鞭炮的膠袋，不過我看到鞭炮的種類也真不少：沖天炮、轟炸機、地老鼠、降落傘。最常見的火柴炮和沙炮也有，煙花也有不少。
我先讓他們點幾枝香過來，免得到時用火機時燒到手。一切準備就緒以后，我們便可以開始放了。“先放什么好呢?”我正在沉思。突然，我妹妹對我說：“先放‘降落傘’吧。我還沒看過呢!”其他孩子也表示贊成?！昂?”我裝著一副“孩子王”的樣子說。
接著我把“降落傘”放在平地上，點燃了導火索，便走到一邊去。只見“降落傘”“吁”的.一聲就飛到了天空中，就是“啪”的爆了，最有趣的來了：一個玩具小人拿著降落傘從天而降。就好像是日本人來侵略中國的戰斗機爆炸了，大家看到這個情形都高興得連拍手掌。
跟著放“地老鼠”吧!我把香遞給妹妹，讓她來放。只見她把炮放在空地上，小心翼翼地點燃了以后，便走得遠遠的?！暗乩鲜蟆瘪R上開始分散，到處亂竄，還閃著不同顏色的火光，可一會兒便熄滅了。我不禁感慨：它的“生命”雖然很短，但它也對人們做出了貢獻，給人們帶來了快樂!
正在我思考的時候，媽媽上來了，高興地說：“大家一起放煙花吧!”“好啊!”很明顯他們以耐不住性子了。就這樣，在黑夜中，他們拿著各自的煙花，在歡快地走著、跳著。我不禁笑了起來!
